Astrology is a science of predictions , those heavy planetary bodies revolving around the Sun , have least effect on Nature and human beings ( Sun exceptionally is the source of life and energy on earth ). Human body is so complex that it could transcend itself through introspection, inner engineering and righteous deeds , needs no prediction for doing so. However , Astrology has its own place in indian texts and culture ( not mentioned in Vedas , Upanishadas and the holy Geeta ) , to guide masses in the right direction of self knowing .
